Our Year 12 Geography Class are currently studying Fiordland as a Large Natural Landscape.
The girls took their learning outside the classroom a few days ago on #TeachOutsideDay and completed a vegetation study with DOC Community Ranger Crystal Brindle.
The second day of their class trip, the group ventured into the Eglington Valley and Milford Sound to look at how glaciation has created the landscape that we see today.
The girls were able to take in some of the incredible scenery with the boat trip in and even managed a taste of the water from one of the waterfalls.
