Another busy term of volleyball for the 8 SGHS teams who entered the Southland Secondary Schools Volleyball Competition, which was held over 6 consecutive weeks.
The teams all played incredibly well and were amazing ambassadors for the school.
With amazing student coaches – Jade R, Jade H, Zoe A, Hayley R, Pelesena T, Ritang H and Cate R supporting the teams, it was a fun season with lots of new skills being learnt.
As always a big thank you to the members of our wonderful staff and parents who helped manage the teams – Mrs Villoem, Mrs Goodwill, Mrs Hawkes and Mrs Devereux and my two parent managers – Sam Rand Krystal S.
