Y7-10 NZ Schools Japanese Trivia Champs, 21 June 2024

The New Zealand Association of Language Teachers have organised a nationwide Japanese Trivia Competition for Year 7-10 students studying Japanese through the country. Students will compete in teams of four, with trivia questions on categories such as geography, pop culture, food, daily like, festivals etc.

Date: Friday 21st June 2024

Time: 5.45pm-7.30pm approx.

Equipment: Bring Pen and a drink bottle

Food: Drinks and snacks

Transport: Students are to make their own way to and from the event

Clothing: teams can choose to dress in Japanese themed costumes if they wish

Costs: No charge

Venue: James Hargest Senior Campus – meet at the main office doors

This event is low risk. This event is managed by school staff who will manage risk and hazards according to the school’s safety management plan. While risks can be maintained to acceptable levels they cannot be totally eliminated. Some risk is retained for its learning and experiential value. These events are managed by the appropriate sporting body in conjunction with school staff who will manage risk and hazards according to the school’s safety management plan. This includes careful consideration of the risks, all risks will be outlined to the students. While risks can be maintained to acceptable levels they cannot be totally eliminated. Some risk is retained for its learning and experiential value.
