We will be having our Annual Noho Marae from Thursday 13 February to Friday 14 February 2025.
The purpose of our Noho Marae is for our akonga to get to know each other better, build strong and long lasting relationships as Tuakana and Teina, learn how to work together on the Marae fulfilling different responsibilities each day, upholding Marae Tīkanga , participating in planned programmes, participating in group activities, preparing for school events and much more. On Thursday 13th February 6pm, you are invited to attend the Pōwhiri with your child as this is a very important time for whanau to meet one another, share a meal together and to plan the year ahead as a whanau. Like the saying says it takes a village to raise a child. This event for Te Manawa Kaharoa has always been an expectation by the School for our akonga. The dinner for the Wednesday night is a potluck dinner. We will discuss as a class what each student can bring that night.
