SGHS is incredibly proud of the partnership we have shared with Tiwai Aluminium Smelter for the last 15 years.

This is the only partnership of its type that promotes and provides opportunities for women to pursue careers in Engineering.

This year the partnership finally comes full circle with former students Tayla and Bailey who graduated in 2017 coming back to school to share their stories with current students. Both Bailey and Tayla were involved in the partnership while at SGHS, and are now both employed as engineers at Tiwai.

We must thank the management and staff at Tiwai who so generously welcome our students each year, and provide them with the opportunity to follow their career goals.
