As part of their Level 2 Health Internal “Take action to enhance wellbeing in the community”, two our students Zoe G And Geordice L organised a school House event Food Drive.
The response was incredible and every donation earned house points for the students. With an incredible 526.45kg of food donations being made to the Southland Food Bank, once again our school community showed their commitment to our local community. The Southland Foodbank provides a much needed service. So in the spirit of community we challenge our fellow Invercargill high schools to rally their school community and see if they can coordinate a food bank drive to collect very much needed supplies.
