It was a warm welcome back to SGHS for former student Hannah Miller who recently spend time and offered current students an insight into overseas study.
Hannah Miller fell in love with athletics during her time at SGHS – this passion for the sport led to the opportunity for overseas education.
Some highlights of Hannah’s story:
- A scholarship to the US where she completed a BA in political science and international affairs and a BA in Journalism at Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas.
- The last 2 years saw Hannah complete her Masters in Public Policy at the University of New Mexico.
Finally back in New Zealand after many Covid travel delays she begins working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in late April.
