We are excited about the year ahead with the formation of two Pasifika Academic Tutor classes, Aiga and Moana.
To start the year and welcome the new members to these classes, we are planning to have a leadership day out to build relationships, foster leadership and build confidence.
We plan to bus to Sandy Point where we will complete a bush walk and do team building challenges, before having a shared lunch and the take the bus back to SGHS.

Please Note: School procedures is full payment must be received by the due date for your child to be eligible to attend camp. If the payment and permission form is not completed by the due date your child will be withdrawn from attending camp. Once payment has been made and registrations have closed there will be no refunds. Please Note: All payments will be allocated to any unpaid fees and charges on your child’s account first.
Clothing: Need layers of clothing to cater for different temperatures and comfortable walking shoes
Food: Combined lunch, please bring something to share as well as a water bottle and snacks

This event contains risks, including sprains, strains while walking. This event is supervised by school staff who will manage risk and hazards according to the school’s and their safety management plan. This includes careful supervision, correct use of safety equipment and correct clothing. While risks can be maintained to acceptable levels they cannot be totally eliminated. Some risk is retained for its learning and experiential value. It is important for safety reasons that students follow instructions given to them by all staff and follow all appropriate school rules. Behaviour by students that is deemed dangerous and puts themselves and/or others at undue risk will result in students being returned to school.
