Last week, a dedicated team of students invested their time and effort in participating in the Southland Social Science Fair. Their commitment and hard work are commendable, and we are proud of their decision to challenge themselves in this learning area.

Sophie I – First In Yr. 11-13 with her project looking at the geography of the Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam.
Sophie I, Carly D, Binne L—Their project on international sun safety placed second in Years 11-13 and second in the Health Section.
Rachel S – First In the Women’s Issues Section with her project comparing gender equality in New Zealand and Japan.
Mariam M received a Merit Award for Year—9/10 with her project on the Glowworms in Te Anau.
