Being a leader at SGHS means stepping up and leading by example.
Our school Prefects and House Captains spent time with the fabulous team at the YMCA Invercargill developing their leadership skills recently.
Learning about effective communication, being inclusive and recognising diversity in leadership were all important themes being explored.
The girls really embraced the opportunity to participate in the course and shared at times insightful knowledge with their peer group and the team from the YMCA.
Congratulations girls – you were amazing ambassadors for SGHS!
