Meet two of our superstar senior girls – Emma (L) and Zara (R).
Giving back to both the school community and the wider community is a commonly seen trait amongst our girls here at SGHS.
The school recognises these achievements with both girls being awarded a service badge.
For Zara her passion for her community with over 1000 hours involvement so with the St Johns Cadets. Zara was also recognised by the Governor General being awarded the Grand Prior Award last year in a ceremony at Government House.
From organising and distributing food hampers to those who need it most, her involvement with St Johns and always seeking new ways to give back – Zara your service award badge is incredibly well earned.
Emma uses her gift and passion for music by offering musical based tutoring both in school and for Out of School music theory and singing.
Volunteering in the community with a senior citizen focus has also helped Emma accumulate over 500+ service hours.
Congratulations girls on your selfless and incredibly generous contributions of time and knowledge. The school is in awe of your achievements and incredibly proud.
