Sport Registrations – Term 2, 2025

Please read tournament events HERE. Students in any SGHS A team are required to make themselves available for these tournament dates.

Students must wear the appropriate SGHS uniform for all games. The uniform is compulsory and failure to wear this may result in your child not being able to play.

We highly recommend the automatic payment option as this means your child will be able to play their sport while the fees are being paid off.  To keep on top of fees, we would recommend $10 per week per child that is involved in one sport per term.

If you are looking to be selected for a tournament team please look through the tournament details found here for cost indication as well as dates. Please ensure you are available before trials. If you play multiple sports at top school level and winter tournament week dates clash you will need to choose which A team to be a part of this year, and play in a non tournament team for your other sports.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

I understand that sports, trips, and extra-curricular activities are opportunities for me to learn, practice skills, and gain attitudes and values in an environment outside of the school.  I realise that this requires me to take on genuine responsibility for my own enjoyment and safety and that of others.

I agree to do the following to make this happen:

  • Show courtesy and consideration to others.
  • Follow the rules and instructions of staff and other supervisors at the events.
  • Look after myself and my personal belongings.
  • Declare medical conditions that could affect participation in the events.
  • Accept the rules set by the school for the events.
  • Take part in all activities within ‘challenge-by-choice’ options

I understand that my parents / caregivers will be contacted and I may be sent home at their expense if:

  • My actions are considered unacceptable by staff / supervisors of these events.
  • I breach the behaviour / discipline standards of the school.
