The Year 12 Ag class visited Crunchy Microgreens to see how the plants are grown hydroponically. This directly links to their internal back at school. They learnt how baby broccoli, baby cabbages and more grow this way and how restaurants prefer the snow pea tendrils for their garnishings. We were able to taste each of these as well as their seasoning range. Where they add salt to their dried microgreens. We also were able to grow our own mini radishes and broccoli in seedling trays to take away. Thanks to the @crunchynz team, Mrs Cauldwell, and Mrs Young.
