ILT Sing Out Performance and Rehearsals – 2026

On Tuesday, 2 June ROSSO will be attending its first rehearsal for the ILT Sing Out 2026. This rehearsal is to be held at Donovan Primary School. The students will leave SGHS at 9.15am and return at 11.20am.

The choir is excited about participating in the ILT Sing Out. It has a long history and has seen many young people participate over the years in an event which they remember for a life time. This is the festivals 80th year and deservedly we intend to celebrate this achievement in style. The theme for 2026 is “The 80’s” and we have quite the selection of epic songs from that decades as well as some other treats throughout the evening that showcase this event’s history. We know audiences are going to love it.

ROSSO choir members will meet Miss Rae and Mr James or Miss Russell in POT at 9.10am ready to have the roll taken before boarding the bus that has been provided to take them to the venue. The choir will be back by lunchtime. Their teachers have been advised of this.

More information will come later about rehearsal two and the plans for theatre week. In the meantime please put the following dates in your calendar:

  • Rehearsal Two: Tuesday, 11 August (Donovan Primary School).
  • Technical Rehearsal: Monday, 14 September at 1.00pm (Civic Theatre)
  • Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday, 15 September at 9.30am (Civic Theatre)
  • Show Night: Tuesday, 15 September at 7.00pm (Civic Theatre)
