As part of the assessment programme for Year 11 Geography, your child is invited to attend a field trip where information is necessary to complete their internal assessment AS 91014 Apply Spatial Analysis with direction to solve a problem. Prior to the field trip, your child will have been using GIS to map the projected impacts of sea-level rise on Dunedin. While on the field trip, we will be visiting the sites that we have mapped, having the Dunedin City Council and the University of Otago speak to the students about the future plans for Dunedin due to these projected impacts. Please read through the following information below and complete the permission form due by Friday 9 September 2022.
