- The choir is a year-long obligation.
- Sanguine performs at the NZCF Big Sing Competition, Performing Arts Festival, in the community, Open Night, assemblies and Prizegiving.

FEMME is our elite choir.
- Audition Entry: auditions are held in Term 4 for new members and again in week two of Term 1 of the following year for Year 9 to 13 students.
- The audition involves preparing an unaccompanied solo item, as well as having some ear tests and singing a harmony part.
- The choir involves a year-long obligation for its members. Each year members must re-audition for their position in the choir.
- FEMME members must participate in weekly sectionals as well as take individual voice lessons.
- Femme performs at Open Night, NZCF Big Sing, in the community, assemblies, Performing Arts Festival, Colours and Prizegiving.
- In 2006 and 2008 FEMME represented the Southland Region as a Guest Choir at the NZCF Finale.
